Myself (Max Canning – Guitarist on the left) and Connor Ludnow (Vocalist on the right) founded the company in 2018, shortly after graduating from Leeds College Of Music – our meeting ground. We spent a few years travelling with our original music, performing in some amazing places, also performing live on BBC radio Leeds. We later formed a function band, quickly gaining a lot of experience playing weddings and other events. It was around this point that we discovered a passion for entertaining and decided to go full-time with it.
We performed under a few local agencies, later deciding to go solo managing ourselves! Fast forward a few years and we’ve travelled far and wide playing 250+ weddings, and now work closely with reputable venues alongside our musician friends. Amplifi Events is a platform for us to market our own talents, and close friends who are well experienced in the industry. We are a small musician-run business, which means you (the hirer) have a direct line of contact with the performers.
