Who are we?
Amplifi Events – founded by two passionate musicians.
I (Max Canning) co-founded the company in 2022 as a guitarist with long-term bandmate and singer, Connor Ludnow.
Connor and I met while studying at Leeds College Of Music in 2015 and quickly discovered a passion for performing live music together. We promptly formed a function band after graduating university, entertaining more than 300 weddings between us before launching Amplifi Events.
We originally launched Amplifi Events as a stripped-back version of our function band, the Sunday Soul Duo, performing uplifting acoustic music together as a pair- and the duo is still available to book today. We evolved to perform in bigger bands such as our Amplifi House Band, which we’ve proudly built and refined to perfection, while also managing a growing team of more than 10 carefully selected musicians.
The musicians and DJs at Amplifi are not only exceptional professionals, but also trusted friends and colleagues we’ve had the pleasure of working with. Every member of our team has been chosen for their talent, reliability and ability to create incredible experiences.
